Ever since Google originally announced Android KitKat back in October 2013 for their Nexus line of devices, owners of non-Nexus handsets have been eagerly waiting to get their phone or tablet upgraded. Between then and now, Sony has released other software updates but it took them until sometime around today to finally give their customers a taste of the chocolate coated crisps.
My phone, an Xperia Z, is still in the process of finalizing the after-update steps as I am writing this so I have zero experience with the new Android version - other than on my Tablet Z2 which shipped with KitKat natively. But one thing I know; the first new app I'll install on it is Google's own camera. Say hello to the PhotoSphere!
