Sweden Blogs - Part 10 - Icing on the Cake

A yellow full moon hanging low over the tops of the pine trees, small white icicle hairs on absolutely everything and a wooden veranda that crackles with every step.
I turn on the engine, start scraping ice off my windows and look around. What a beautiful world when nature delivers morning frost, a bit of early sunshine and a low hanging yellow winter moon.
We have suffered for a month or so with rain and mud, but our reward was delivered today.
For me, at the end of 2009, a year in which we picked up our lives and moved from Holland to Sweden with all the work and stress that goes with it, today's frosty morning is indeed the icing on the cake.
